National Assisted Living Week kicks off the start of fall. This year’s theme was “Joyful Moments” and there were plenty of those all throughout the month. The bus traveled to Folklore Village twice for some great music. Some of the ladies baked cookies to thank our dedicated staff members, and homemade dog bones for some furry friends. During Assisted Living Week, residents and staff dressed up and were treated to “Glamour Shots” and a fancy candlelight meal with champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries. They shared special treasures and moments of joy from their pasts, fostering memories and new friendships. There was also a sock hop and a tailgate party, as well as a visit from the Vesperman Farms ice cream truck! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
