The month started out honoring our resident veterans Joe, Dean, Guerdon and Bob. We also recognized staff member Parker who is an Army National Guard Combat Engineer. We appreciate their service to our country! Our cook put together a German feast of sausage, sauerkraut, German potato salad and pretzel bites with cheese dip, which was especially festive listening to polka music! We recycled the Halloween pumpkins by cleaning them out and roasting the seeds to feed to the birds. Folks love watching their feathered friends! Some of the ladies took the bus to Folklore Village for a music performance, and soon after that everyone celebrated Thanksgiving together with a traditional turkey meal with all the trimmings. Now it’s on to the festivities of the Christmas season! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
