Spring officially arrived, and with it came beautiful – and warm – weather! Perfect for planting flowers or just sitting outside! We so appreciated the adorable bird nests the Kindergarten students of Pecatonica Area School District sent to brighten the walls. So sweet! There was lots of music and dancing, including a trip to sister-residence Meadows in Spring Green to enjoy a performance by Jan Berry and her Country Classic Trio. Guys from the community came for a rousing game of Euchre, and Ventriloquist Terry and The Men of Blackhawk Church entertained for Mother’s Day. The bus took folks on a trip to the historical Slag Furnace, and on the way home they stopped by Bob’s Electric, where resident Bob’s son Terry treated everyone to delicious cookies! The month ended with a lovely Memorial Day picnic indoors, remembering those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
