August is Fair Month at CrestRidge, so that meant folks could win ribbons in events like the Cow Chip Throw, Hog Calling Contest, Spelling Bee and Kissing Booth. It also meant enjoying yummy fair food like cream puffs and a delicious picnic. CrestRidge is honored to be one of the sponsors of the Folklore Village Senior Outreach Concerts, and some of the ladies took the bus there to hear KG & The Ranger. There were some special handwork projects to put everyone in the mood for fall, and a visit from one of our favorite four-legged friends. The ladies had a Mary Kay Facial and Make Up Day, and volunteer Bridget and her husband, Paul, gave another great presentation – this time on their wonderful travels in Canada.
