The month of August started out with a good ol’ fashioned hoedown with the County Deputies. The patio got lots of use with picnics, furniture refinishing and corn husking. The bus was busy with trips to area destinations – Montfort and a stop for ice cream, Folklore Village to hear “The Trippers”, and Mineral Point with residents Mary Jane and Joanna playing tour guide. Thanks to Iowa Grant High School student Caitlyn for bringing in her bunny Brownie. Folks enjoyed meeting this furry friend. Thanks also to previous CrestRidge Administrator Brenda for donating a number of Norman Rockwell plates. Residents learned about his life and artwork and then everyone got to pick out a plate. The highlight of the month was hosting our annual summer party, with great food, top-notch music and delightful time with family and friends. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
