November started with a wonderful wedding anniversary celebration for two residents who’ve been married 72 years. What a milestone! To commemorate Veterans Day, folks visited the Veterans Memorial and Train Depot in Ridgeway and enjoyed a patriotic concert. Resident veterans were also awarded certificates of recognition for their service. Gerald led Baking Group and showed everyone how to make his famous and delicious Tea Biscuits. Four-legged friend Bernie and his human, Els, came for a visit, and Highland high school student Kaitlyn brought her adorable rabbit as part of her school project on Pet Therapy. Country music singer Susie Frankland, the Men of Blackhawk Church and Top Shelf shared fabulous music, and a big thank you to the Mineral Point Lions Club and Dodgeville High School students for bringing in beautiful roses!
