CrestRidge ladies enjoy a Red Hat Society gathering

April meant Easter, so there were crafts to make including dough ornaments that folks painted with beautiful Easter themes. There was lots of singing - karaoke with Gospel worship songs and Crooning with Carol - and the campus bus took residents to Mineral Point for the annual City-Wide Garage Sales. Afterward they stopped at the Pointer Cafè and staff member Lynn’s house to see her animals. To commemorate Earth Day, folks went for a drive to see local treasure Hyde Mill. April is also Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we thank all who share their time and talents with us, including Pastor Scott from Hidden Valley Community Church and the “Church Ladies” from Abundant Life Christian Center. The ladies of CrestRidge invite any retired or current Red Hat members – or inspired volunteers – to join them for future gatherings.
