In late February, CrestRidge held a 50’s themed day where staff and residents dressed up in lace collars and poodle skirts and participated in fun activities. The seniors learned about the top 10 decade-defining songs as well as some 50’s history. They also attended a special ‘Mel’s Diner’ themed lunch with delicious hamburgers and fries. Later in the afternoon a ‘Soda Shop’ opened up in the activity room and residents listened to 50’s music and enjoyed tasty ice cream floats. Everybody had a wonderful time together – what a cute and unique idea! To view pictures, please click on the web album.
