November brought some lovely visits from community volunteers and a variety of creatures! Herpetologist Tom Kessenich brought his Snakes Alive program, giving folks the chance to get up close and personal to a snapping turtle, boa and python. Resident Bob’s grandson stopped by to show his grandpa the 12-point buck he got while hunting, and volunteer Arnette brought in her dog Gracie and Pat and Bridget brought in an adorable puppy. We commemorated Veterans Day and honored our resident veterans with tokens of appreciation, and celebrated Thanksgiving with a lovely family-style meal. Students Nora and Reese came in and played piano on their day off of school, the Cobb Gals hosted another monthly sing-a-long with polka dancing, and volunteers Dorothy and Cathy led everyone in Thanksgiving songs. We so appreciate the Dodgeville community! To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
