Seniors and staff watch the solar eclipse with safety glasses.

April means spring has sprung – and there certainly was perfect spring weather when folks watched the solar eclipse. What an amazing phenomenon! Everyone was pleased to welcome Highland High School student Chloe, who shared information from her senior project on the importance of pollinators. Our furry, four-legged friends came for a visit, there were cookies to bake and spring handiwork projects to make, and a fun trip to the Pointer Café in Mineral Point for lunch. Folks celebrated Earth Day and staff put on a Tea-Riffic Tea Party to thank our dedicated volunteers. The month ended with an enjoyable performance and gifts from Terry the Ventriloquist and his buddy, Danny. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
