National Assisted Living Week kicked off the month of September, starting with Grandparents’ Day. It was a gorgeous blue-sky day for a car show and outdoor concert. There were 19 beautiful cars, and everyone voted for their favorite while enjoying refreshments. There were also dress-up days, prize drawings, and yummy ice cream treats from the Vesperman Farms ice cream truck from Lancaster. We so appreciate the folks who live at our assisted living and memory care residences and the dedicated staff members who support them. At the end of the month there was a fall mingle. Pumpkin spice lattes, apple cider donuts and pumpkin bread officially welcomed the change of seasons. To view photos, please click on the web album link below.
